How long have you been in business?
We have been serving the Central Kentucky market since 1984.
What is your primary product or service?
We offer high quality portable vacuums that last 3-5 times as long as the box store brands. That not only saves our customers money over the long run but provides them with a tool to effectively keep their homes clean and healthy. The "disposable" brands don't last and worse yet, don't perform well. They lose suction and leak contaminated air back into the house while you vacuum!
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our inventory and industry knowledge are second to none. If it is available we either have it or we can get it quickly. With over 50 years of combined experience, we have seen just about anything you can throw at us. In the Central vacuum category, no one takes more care to provide a quality instillation that will give years of trouble free service. All of our technicians are thoroughly trained in both new construction and existing installations.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently have just the one location in Lexington but would love to expand at some time in the future
Provide detailed directions to your location
We are just off Nicholasville Road near the Fayette Mall in the CrossRoads shopping center. There is a Walgreens on the corner of the center and we are next door to Subway.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, checks and yes, still cash.
Which areas do you service?
For portable vacuums, we are happy to work with anyone who needs our service and expertise. Just bring your vacuum in and we will give you an honest and thorough assessment of your vacuum. In our Central Vacuum Division, we provide custom in-home service and installation almost anywhere in Central Kentucky. Stop by or give us a call for a free estimate on what it would take to install or update a central vacuum system in your new or existing home.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Tom's Vacuum Clinic is a family owned and run business. You can find the owner in the store most of the time along with the rest of the friendly and knowledgeable staff. In all, there is over 50 years of experience here to address your vacuum needs and questions.
What are your hours of operation?
We are here: Monday - Friday 9-6 and Saturdays 9-5. Closed Sundays
