How long have you been in business?
26 years
What is your primary product or service?
Upper and lower extremity prosthetics
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
As an amputee, Jim McClanahan, who lost a leg at the age of 17 as a result of bone cancer, was led to a career path in prosthetics in 1970. His first business partner, Maurice Adkins who is now deceased, was also an amputee. Maurice's son Shayne became a prosthetist in 2000, and is now a managing owner of the business, as well.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
First, we are a small, family owned business. But, more importantly, we view our patients as members of our family. We try very hard to foster a family atmosphere, an environment where our patients feel comfortable. Limb loss is traumatic and we want to encourage and uplift our patients.

Jim McClanahan, LP/CP and Shayne Adkins, LP/CP, are the owners and prosthetists.

Mon-Thursday, 8am-4:30pm, Friday, 8am-3:00pm.

That they would recommend us to a friend or family member
What is your favorite quote or Bible verse?
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him and he will make your paths straight.
